Both extractors have the characteristics of high extraction efficiency such as few extraction stages, distinct stages, and no mixed flow. However, the drag chain extractor has unclear extraction stages and serious mixed flow.
According to the principle of adaptability, a loop extractor should be selected: the material layer of the horizontal rotary extractor is 4-5 times higher than that of the loop extractor. For rice bran meal with small particles and large powder degree, it is bound to cause pipe burst, bridging and non-seepage during the soaking process, thereby affecting production and causing various indicators to exceed the standard, which is also proved by practice.
In summary, the loop extractor is currently the most suitable equipment for rice bran extraction. The advantages of using an annular extractor to extract rice bran are as follows:
- The material layer of the annular extractor is thin, and the material layer will be turned over during the extraction process. During the turning process, the material layer will be evacuated. On the other hand, the direction of penetration is turned once on the cross section, so that the material blanks that have been freed of solvents before and after will be exposed to the solvent first.
