Rice bran pretreatment process:
The pretreatment of rice bran includes bran separation, conditioning, expansion, drying and other processes.
First, separate the rice bran from the bran to remove impurities such as broken rice and coarse bran shells in the rice bran. After cleaning, send the rice bran to the conditioning pot to adjust the temperature and moisture to a state suitable for expansion. The function of extrusion is to destroy the cell tissue of rice bran, change the porosity inside rice bran, increase the permeability inside rice bran, and improve the extraction efficiency of rice bran. Drying is required before extraction, which is more conducive to rice bran storage. The moisture and temperature of rice bran are also conducive to extraction.
Rice bran oil extraction process:
The rice bran oil extraction process is divided into four major systems: material extraction, wet meal desolventization, mixed oil evaporation and solvent recovery.
The pretreated rice bran enters the rice bran oil extraction machine through the conveying equipment. Using the principle of organic solvent extraction, it is fully contacted with the rice bran cake by spraying, soaking, etc., and the oil in the rice bran is extracted to obtain the mixed oil. Then, using the difference in boiling points between oil and solvent, evaporation and stripping are performed to vaporize the solvent and separate it from the oil, thereby obtaining rice bran crude oil.
Rice bran oil refining process:
There are various impurities in the rice bran oil produced by the extraction method, which are harmful to the human body after consumption. Therefore, the extracted oil needs to be refined by rice bran oil refinery plant to remove impurities, solvents and harmful elements in the oil before it can be eaten. Rice bran oil refining machine has six main processes, namely degumming, deacidification, dehydration, decolorization, deodorization and dewaxing. After refining through these six processes, the oil can remove harmful substances and most impurities. Refining can improve the quality and edibility of rice bran oil, and also increase the storage time of oil.
